​DUTY OFFICERS RESPONSIBILITIES (.22 RIFLES)
 
 
  1.  The Duty officer is the senior range officer of the day and if possible, should ensure that there is a range officer on the range. There must be a range officer on the range if there are probationary members or inexperienced shooters shooting.
2.The Duty officer is responsible for the allocation and security of the rifles and ammunition while on the premises and especially from and into the Armoury. Only full members over the age of 18 (under 18 if they have a personal firearm certificate) may take a rifle and ammunition away from the premises. They must enter any rifle movement away from the premises in the file marked……………
      in the office. There is a list of members who are not allowed to take any rifles
      away from the premises in the front of this file. They must also make sure that 
      the person taking the rifle has a copy of the letter of authorisation, duly
      amended with name address and dates, together with a copy of the clubs
      firearm certificate.
